Good Monday afternoon! We started off this Monday with some downtown walking, lunch at the Blind Tiger with my son (what a treat to get out and about with him!), and some house stalking otherwise know and shooting for my Instagram page, The Charleston Lens. What a beautiful day!
Until I was uploading stories while walking down Church street and nothing was uploading. I got to the restaurant with my son, and he said something about not having internet or being able to get on Instagram. I agreed with him and we chalked it up to being inside the older Charleston building.
Fast forward to late afternoon, and I found out about the huge Facebook outage and that the domain name is actually “available” for purchase. Instagram is still down too, and that is my huge concern.
Ya’ll, I’ve spent hours and hours a week for many years building my little Instagram “blog.” I was just getting to the point where I could share my shopping picks and make a dollar or two (literally) on the LTK site. This is bad. I would hate to see all my years of posting disappear in a poof!
Now I realize that I should have writing on this blog a lot more and starting to collect my followers’ email addresses so we could stay in touch. How will I ever find my people again?
